As the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muslim Indonesia (FK-UMI), Dr. dr. Nasrudin AM leads with vision, integrity, and a deep commitment to academic excellence rooted in Islamic values. Since assuming leadership, he has guided the faculty toward becoming a center of excellence in medical education, research, and community service, while maintaining UMI’s strong identity as an Islamic institution of higher learning. Under his leadership, the Faculty of Medicine has achieved significant progress in strengthening its academic quality, research capacity, and student development. Since 2018, FK-UMI has been entrusted by the government to admit up to 260 new students annually, reflecting national recognition of the faculty’s credibility and trustworthiness in producing competent medical professionals. Dr. Nasrudin emphasizes a balanced approach between science and ethics, ensuring that every graduate not only possesses clinical competence but also embodies compassion, professionalism, and spiritual integrity. His strategic focus includes expanding partnerships with hospitals, government agencies, and international universities, fostering innovation in medical education, and promoting community-based health services. Through his visionary direction, FK-UMI continues to uphold its mission to produce Muslim doctors who are skillful, ethical, and globally competitive, ready to serve humanity and contribute to the advancement of medicine both nationally and internationally.
