National Collaborations

The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muslim Indonesia (FK-UMI), has established collaborations with various institutions and organizations within Indonesia to effectively support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—education, research, and community service. These collaborations take the following forms:

  • Partnerships with healthcare service centers across South Sulawesi (including general hospitals and community health centers/Puskesmas), for the implementation of clinical clerkship education in both main teaching hospitals and affiliated or satellite hospitals, as well as in community health centers.
  • Joint research and community service activities conducted by lecturers and students in hospitals and Puskesmas.
  • Collaboration with government agencies, such as the Provincial and City Health Offices of South Sulawesi and Makassar, particularly in community service initiatives in designated mentoring areas and participation in disaster response teams coordinated by government institutions.
