The Faculty of Medicine offers three main programs:

The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muslim Indonesia, is located at Jl. Urip Sumoharjo KM 5, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, directly across from the Ibnu Sina Teaching Hospital.

Yes. Both the Bachelor of Medicine and Professional Doctor programs have achieved “Excellent” (Unggul) accreditation status from LAM-PTKes, the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health.

FK-UMI’s main teaching hospital is Ibnu Sina Hospital Makassar, located just across from the UMI campus. It serves as the primary site for clinical rotations and professional medical training.

  • Bachelor of Medicine (S.Ked): 3.5 years (7 semesters, 154 credits)

  • Professional Doctor Program (Dr.): 1 year 11 months (around 4 semesters, 52 credits)

  • Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology: Duration varies according to specialization requirements.

The faculty is equipped with modern laboratories, digital libraries, simulation and clinical skills centers, and access to Ibnu Sina Teaching Hospital for hands-on experience.
